My approach

“I offer a full diagnostic service for patients with breathing problems, cough or chest pain”

It is possible to narrow down the cause of a very vague symptom such as a chronic but unexplained cough by taking a careful medical history, performing a thorough clinical examination and then accessing the correct imaging and diagnostic technology.

“Armed with the correct diagnosis, I then take time to explain the treatment options available”

I like to work with each patient to set up an individual treatment plan.

“I feel it is very important to deliver optimal care to all my patients”

This is the case whether they come to my busy NHS practice at University College London Hospital or to a private consultation at The King Edward VII Hospital.

“I also feel I have a responsibility to engage in research to improve on current best practice in respiratory medicine”

This is why I have been involved in several important clinical trials over the last few years and why I continue to push the boundaries of research excellence through my role as Honorary Senior Scientist within the Medical Research Clinical Trials Unit here in London.
